About the experience

Sid’s screen lit up with five delighted faces who welcomed him saying “Hi Sid Sir!”, to which an equally excited Sid replied “Call me Sid ya!” (yup... we’re still blushing!). Sid met Reshma, the first fan he's ever met from the Netherlands. He met Arima for the sixth time (she has attended most of his movie promotions!). He met Sagar, a super fan who super binged all of Sid’s movies during lockdown. He met Keerthy, a newly-minted Bollywood fan who was enchanted by Sid’s charm. And he met Ekta, who has been introducing Sid’s movies to her Korean, Arabian and Italian friends!

Since Sid is the super-talented actor, everybody voted for him to go first in the game of charades. Sid flapped his imaginary wings and Arima quickly – and correctly – guessed Airlift! Arima’s Karthik Calling Karthik took everyone a while to guess. But this was balanced out by Sagar’s Marjaavan, which was guessed under 10 seconds! Keerthy transformed himself into Hanuman and Arima quickly guessed Bajrangi Bhaijaan! And she also guessed Jumanji when Sid was gesturing to imaginary lice in his hair! Then there came a whole round of retro movies – mehendi ban gayi khoon, kaun kitne paani mein, teesri manzil! The best part was when Keerthy decided to depict ‘over’ in the movie 'hangover' by enacting a bowler bowling six balls to a batsman! Arima ended the awesome round of charades with a bang – by enacting “ye too much ho gaya hai”. Well, difficult movies shayad maybe have become too much, but we will never get enough of Sid! ? 

About Cuddles Foundation

Cuddles Foundation provides holistic nutrition support and food to underprivileged children fighting cancer across India. Even with the best medical care, 8 out of 10 children who are malnourished lose the fight to cancer. Over 50,000 children are diagnosed with cancer every year in India. 40% of them are malnourished at diagnosis.

With this campaign, we are helping raise funds for their "FoodHeals" Program.  
The program is customised to each child’s medical condition. Cuddles works with more than 30 government and charity hospitals to provide them with nutritionists who are specifically trained for pediatric cancer nutrition. They monitor the child's progress, create diet plans, educate their parents in home-based nutrition, provide the children and their families with hot meals, nutritional supplements and ration baskets so that the kids have the strength to fight their cancer.

By sponsoring the FoodHeals program, you help children experience lesser side-effects and treatment complications, fewer breaks or delays in treatment, improved chances for survival, better immunity against infection and a feeling of being supported and cared for.

Legal stuff

Our lawyers want you to know that:

  1. Tax exemption certificate (the “80-G certificate”) issued under Section 80G of the Income Tax Act, 1961 is available for citizens of India. After the transaction is completed, GiveIndia will issue and email the 80-G certificate to the Donor.
  2. The Donation is the qualification for an entry to win the Celebrity Experience. The checkout value is inclusive of an entry fee for every Donation amount transferred to GiveIndia. 
  3. A total of 5 Candidates will be randomly selected by a third party for the Celebrity Experience with the Celebrity. The winners (“Confirmed Candidates”) will be announced on 1st November, 2020. 
  4. This Campaign qualifies for the redemption of Referral Entries earned by Fankind Account holders (via the Referral Program). They can be redeemed by the User at the checkout page.
  5. This experience will be fulfilled over a video call with the celebrity. The date and time of the Celebrity Experience will be pre-determined by Fankind in consultation with the Celebrity and shall be subject to change at our sole discretion.
  6. The Confirmed Candidates (“Selected Individuals”) agree that they are voluntarily participating in the Campaign and Celebrity Experience as per the terms and conditions stated here (“Terms of Use”), the terms hereunder and in any other terms agreed to between Fankind and the Selected Individuals.
  7. The Celebrity has agreed to provide a wonderful Celebrity Experience solely out of their good faith and their compassion to help the Designated Charity. Hence, the Confirmed Candidates agree to ensure their availability for the Celebrity Experience on the date and time provided personally to such Confirmed Candidate over e-mail/phone. In the event of such Confirmed Candidate’s unavailability on the designated date and time, the Confirmed Candidate further agrees to inform us of the same immediately, without being entitled to any compensation for failure to avail the Celebrity Experience.
  8. The Selected Individuals agree to follow and obey all rules, instructions, directions, and requirements of Fankind.
  9. The Selected Individuals agree to appear on-camera and have their video call be recorded by Fankind. Further, the Selected Individuals agree to fully cooperate with Fankind for the purpose of advertising, promoting, or publicizing the Celebrity Experience without any compensation. Any and all intellectual property created from such above-mentioned activities shall be solely owned, controlled and exploited by Fankind in perpetuity and the Selected Individuals release all their rights over such intellectual property (if any) in favour of Fankind.
  10. Fankind bears no responsibility for cancellation of the Celebrity Experience due to force majeure reasons.
  11. Fankind shall take all reasonable care while conducting the Celebrity Experience. Notwithstanding the above, it is the sole responsibility of the Selected Individuals to abide by the necessary safety protocols & instructions set forth by the service provider. The Selected Individuals agree that Fankind shall not be held responsible or liable for any mishap, accident, hurt, injury or damage caused in the course of the Celebrity Experience to the person or property of any or both of the Selected Individuals.

All terms not defined hereinabove shall bear the meaning given to them in the Terms of Use. Further, all the aforementioned terms are to be read in consonance and harmony with the Terms of Use for Fankind.
